TEMPORARY RATE BUYDOWN OPTIONS

A temporary rate buydown allows you to save thousands of dollars in the first few years of homeownership. The buydowns are paid for with a seller credit. There are several temporary buydown options available: 1-0, 1-1, 2-1, and the 3-2-1. You can see the rate and payment savings the 3-2-1 buydowns provide in the scenarios above. The amount of seller credit needed to depends on the buydown you choose and your loan amount. We'll send you the breakdown of each option, along with the cost.
